By the coming of Christ, we received a new life and a new identity. He made us New Testament believers— not merely religious people, but true partakers of the New Covenant. Yet, many Christians still live as though they were in the days of the Old Testament.
That’s why Christ is the go-between of a new covenant. Now those God calls to himself will receive the eternal gift he promised. They will receive it now that Christ has died to save them. He died to set them free from the sins they committed under the first covenant.
16What happens when someone leaves a will? It is necessary to prove that the person who made the will has died. 17A will is in effect only when somebody has died. It never takes effect while the one who made it is still living. Heb 9:15-17

• Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.

1. The presence of God
In the old testament- conditional manifestation of God’s presence.
Then he said to Him, “If Your Presence does not go with us, do not bring us up from here. 16For how then will it be known that Your people and I have found grace in Your sight, except You go with us? So we shall be separate, Your people and I, from all the people who are upon the face of the earth.” Exodus 33:15,16
In the new testament.
‘In him we live and move and exist.’ As some of your own poets have also said, ‘We are his children.’ Acts 17:28
Christ is your life. When he appears again, you also will appear with him in heaven’s glory.
Colossians 3:4
Can you identify the differences between the old and the New testament concerning God’s presence?
